Where can I buy armour from?
 

All Star Wars costumes, images and armour are copyright © LucasFilm Limited. We are unable to offer advice or recommendations regarding purchasing of any such licensed materials or to allow discussions of them on the forum.

How can I join your forum boards?

Access to post on the boards is not automatic, and is by invitation only. However, you may gain access to post by sending one of the members of staff an email of introduction, explaining why you wish to join the board.

The move to an “invite only” message board has been brought about by the huge increase of individuals who are joining the board to ask where to get armour/costumes. These people are not actually interested in joining the UK Garrison, but want to use the board for information on costuming.

For those people, I would recommend that you register at the Replica Prop Board

Which events are you appearing at in my area?

You will find details of all our planned appearances on the Events page and photographs from past appearances on the Gallery page.

Do you get paid for the work you do?

The UK Garrison, along with every other 501st Legion garrison around the world, is entirely made up from volunteers and is a completely not-for-profit organisation. We ask for donations to be made to our nominated charities in return for provision of our services.

*Please note* It is illegal and an infringement of the copyright held by LucasFilm to charge for Star Wars costumes, imagery or related licensed products without a prior agreement being in place. Please be aware of this should you decide to look elsewhere for Star Wars costumed characters.

Where is the UK Garrison situated?

We have members all across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland so we are not situated in any single place. We attend events throughout the United Kingdom, wherever suitable opportunities arise

How can I get you to appear at my event?

Get in touch with one of our Event Co-ordinators, they will be able to discuss your requirements and what we may be able to offer. Their details can be found on the Contacts page.
